Privacy Policy for KontactMaster

MECIS ("us", "we", or "our") operates the KontactMaster mobile and web application ("Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following types of information for the sole purpose of providing and improving the Service.

Information you provide

1. Account Data

Full name, email, and password (Hashed). Collected upon sign-up using direct input (Credentials sign-up)

2. Contact Data

Names, phone numbers, location and other personal details of contacts you manually enter.

3. Activity Data

Your notes, scheduled calls, texts, emails, meetings, follow-ups, and list classifications.

4. Payment Data

We use IntaSend to process paymetns. We do not store full credit card numbers or M-Pesa PINs. We store masked identifiers (e.g., phone fragments) to manage your subscription status.

Technical Data

1. WebAuthn/Passkey Data

Public keys and device credentials for app lock and passwordless login security.

2. Push Notification Tokens

Unique device tokens/endpoints to deliver timely reminders.

2. Google Authentication Data Handling

When you choose to sign in using your Google account, we access only the minimal information required to establish your account and identity.

1. Email Address

Used as your unique login identifier

2. Google Unique ID (googleID)

Stored to authenticate you without a password.

3. Display Name

Used for dashboard greetings and friendly purposes.

Usage and handling

1. Limited use

We use this data strictly for authentication and account creation. We do not use this data to identify you or your users for any external advertising purposes.

2. Data sharing

We do not share your Google-provided data (GoogleID, Email, Display Name) with any third parties or for advertising purposes. Your Google data is not merged with any third-party advertising network, data broker, of information reseller.

3. Revoking Access

You can revoke KontactMaster's access to your Google account at any time through your Google account security settings page. Revoking access will prevent you from logging in via Google, but your account data will remain active until you request its deletion.

3. How we use your information

KontactMaster uses the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service, including displaying your custom content.
• To manage your account and provide customer support.
• To notify you about changes to our Service.
• To provide push notifications (e.g., activity reminders, pipeline warnings, daily summaries and streaks) to assist in business management, only if you opt-in to notifications.
• To monitor the usage of the Service.
• We may use browser-based identifiers to track trial eligibility on your device.

4. Data Storage and Security

We value your trust and strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data. All sensitive data, including contact information and authentication tokens, is stored in a secure, encrypted database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at markcodes789@gmail.com.

If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for account reactivation. After 30 days of inactivity on a cancelled account, we reserve the right to permanently delete your data.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
