Terms and Conditions for KontactMaster

Effective: November 26, 2025

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the KontactMaster mobile application, operated by MECIS ("us," "we," or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Use of the Service

The service is provided for your personal and professional contact management and networking use.

  1. Eligibility

    2. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

  2. Prohibited Uses

    3. You agree not to use the Service:

    • In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
    • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail", "chain letter", "spam", or any other similar solicitation.
    • To input any data that you do not have the legal right to use or share.
    • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate KontactMaster, an employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  3. Data Accuracy

    4. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all data and information you input into the Service, including all contact details and notes regarding prospects.

3. Subscription and Billing

    2. We support multiple payment methods via our primary payment processor, IntaSend.

    • Mobile Money

      • Available in supported regions

    • International & Digital Payments

      • Supported via Credit/Debit cards and other digital payment methods as provided by IntaSend at the time of checkout.

  2. Regional Pricing

    3. Pricing may be localized based on your selected payment method or region. Standard international rates are $4.99/month or $29/year.

  3. Trials

    4. New users may be eligible for a limited-time free trial.

  4. Data Friction Policy

    5. Subscription value is tied to your historical activity logs and pipeline data. This data is non-transferable between accounts. Starting a new account to avoid subscription fees results in the total loss of previous pipeline history.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

  1. Cancellation

    2. Cancel anytime via Settings. Access remains until the current period ends.

  2. No Refunds

    3. All payments are final. We do not offer refunds or credits for partial months or unused trial transitions.

4. Account Security and Access

  1. Account Creation

    2. You may create an account using your email and password, or by authenticating through a third-party service, such as Google.

  2. Responsibility

    3. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

  3. Data Loss

    4. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all contact data, notes and activity logs ('User content') that you enter into the Service. By posting User Content, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perfom, and display your Content only as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

Note: All contact data entered is confidential and is not shared with other users unless explicitly enabled by you.

6. User Conduct

Account duplication for purposes of trial manipulation is prohibited. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that abuse the trial system.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". In no event shall we, nor our directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
  • Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of your Jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
